I received a sweet comment to my moon blood drawings:

"Blood is so disgusting! With everything that nature provides, why blood? …. Period blood?? SO gross! I mean, what the fuck! There is nothing sacred in using blood to paint… sacred is to give birth! Let’s not mix sacred with these things…”

My answer:
.
Limiting the idea that something is sacred and something is not has no logic sense.
.
I could never embrace my daughter and tell her: “I love you sweetheart, your sacred to me... but not your mestrual blood drawings”.
.
A-ha! Mom, so are you loving me halfway?
.
The true feminine power lies in our capacity to embrace and love the wholeness of everything that is, without holding back, and recognising this capacity also in others.
.
I draw with my blood because I find it soothing, relaxing, beautiful, sweet, it connects me with all the women because we all bleed together (5.500 days in a life time to be precise), and it intensifies my intuition and makes me feel that I’m taking deeply care of myself - a simple strategy to give my best side to others.
.
I think if you don’t live accepting and loving each part of yourself as sacred, as not loving and accepting every part of others, it will never be a life well spent.
.
Yes, it may be frightening.
.
It’s the price to pay for Freedom and every day I find “hundreds of reasons” to be happy and grateful for choosing to be total and not partial when I Love.
